I went into college thinking I would be a hard hitting print journalist for my whole life. Sadly, my friends rarely read my work. I came to the realization that I needed to reach people where they are: on their phone and on the move.
I still write, but I have expanded my skills to web, audio and video. I also create data visualizations and conduct investigations that affect real people.

Audiences are bombarded with so much content in the hyperdigital world, so a lot of coverage can get lost in the midst. Good post-production planning and design can make content stand a part from the noise. I am slowly learning how to create effective visual communication.

I am currently working towards a Bachelor of Science in journalism and of arts in political science at California Polytechnic State University – San Luis Obispo. I am hoping to find the intersection between my two passions: storytelling and the law.
